RiverFest 2009 Music

9:30am – 11:30am Savant Garde – Classic Rock, Folk, Jazz, R & B, & a little Country

12:00pm – 2:00pm Bingo Therapy – Country, Rock, Blues

Bingo Therapy (www.bingotherapy.com) is a 6 member band made up of long time musicians with a wide breadth of music background and style. They like to describe their music as Hank Williams meets Jimi Hendrix. They play a mix of originals and obscure covers, blues and folk ballads mixed with upbeat danceable Rock.
Pat Dooney on Bass and vocals (former bass player from Portland band “Rhythm Jones”)
Jim Livermore on vocals & rhythm guitar (formerly of Portland band “Jim’s Roadside Service”)
Bob Macon on drums (Wisconsin native and former drummer for the local band “Ginger Lovely”)
Mike Spicer lead guitar (currently playing with “Peripheral Bliss” and the “Kings Caravan”)
Matt Elsen pedal steel (formerly with “Kathy Thompson” and “Wild Bunch” from the Bay area)
Jana Cole female lead singer (formerly of the vocal group “Broadway Ritz, has sung with the “Woody Hite” band and as a guest with “Johnny Limbo and Lugnuts)

2:30pm – 4:30pm Matt Coughlin & Friends – Folk, Pop

The Matt Coughlin band (www.mattcoughlin.com), a trio from Tacoma, WA, puts instruments in the hands of a pizza chef, a telephone pole salesman, and a Hungarian horse bow specialist. Their brand of folk-rock is lightly seasoned with country and pop and a dash of funk.

5:00pm – 8:00pm Larkspur – Rock, Pop, Variety

LARKSPUR is a Hood River-based, 4-piece pop musical group established in 1982 by current members Dana Branson, LeRoy Nickerson and Dave Johnson. With several different drummers, they have been actively performing for 26 years, locally, as well as Seattle, Bend, Portland, Walla Walla and the Oregon Coast.

From night clubs to private parties, weddings to community benefits and sponsored events, like this, their 5th annual appearance at the RiverFest, LARKSPUR delivers music for everyone, from 40’s hits to current tunes, country to rock to easy listening.
